Ingredients
Snakegourd pieces 2 cups
Tur dal 1 cup
Grated coconut 1 cup
Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Green chilis 4 nos
Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon
Salt to taste
Spring onion 3 nos
Mustard seeds ½ teaspoon
Curry leaves 6 nos
Cooking oil 1 table spoon
Method
Cook the dal well. Add snakegourd pieces, turmeric powder, salt, and half cup of water and cook. Grind the coconut with cumin seeds and chilis. Mix with snakegourd. When it starts boiling remove it from the stove. Heat a pan with cooking oil and put in mustard seeds. When it starts crackling put curry leaves and onion pieces. Fry well and mix with the curry.
